If you’re in Maharashtra and need a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), the MahaOnline website streamlines the process for you. Here’s a step-by-step guide to obtaining your PCC hassle-free:
- Visit https://pcs.mahaonline.gov.in/Forms/Home.aspx
- If You are new then click on registration option
- Fillup all your details which is shown there and submit skip the aadhar option dont enter aadhar number in it. OTP verification will go on mobile.
- After Registration click on login.
- Once you are login select the service you want to apply for.
- 1. Character Certificate
- 2. Security Guard Certificate
3. Police Clearance Certificate: Abroad
To Apply For Character Certificate you need to select that option and proceed with the application fillup
Fill All the option highlighted in Red mark. The marathi text will appear automatically, but if it is not translating then we need to type manually there.

After filling up the form you need to select your local police station. and then save to upload the documents.
Once you upload your document, You can need to pay the fees. After paying the fees you can download your receipt and application and take its printout.
Then you need to carry along with this the original document which you have uploaded. and visit nearest police station.
Your certificate will be generated once approval come from SP /CP office.
